The regular season has now come to an end. The first round of playoffs begins on Monday April 17th and matchups are as follows;
Legion Eh vs Black Bull Magic @ Legion Legion Armed & Hammered vs Shootertville @ Legion Boston Bulleyez vs Boston Flames @ Boston Pizza (Bulleyez are home team) Piper Arms vs Poacher @ Piper Arms PLAYOFF RULES - First team to 12 wins the night – captains can decide to play out the night after the winner is declared.
- Singles are ALL Best out of 3. There are no exceptions to this during playoffs.
- A minimum of one woman must play in the first 3 games and last 3 games of singles.
- The 2 game spread between players must still be adhered to.
- Two (2) of the DOUBLE 501, DOUBLE 301 and CRICKET games must be man and woman teams. Failure to play mixed teams will result in forfeiting ALL games of that set with the legal team receiving the wins.
- No player can play with the same partner in the same set of games. If 2 players play together, both games will be forfeited.
- No electronic scoring machines during playoffs or regular season.
- Winners will move to semi finals on Monday April 24th at highest rank venue. Email will be sent next week with update on April 24th games.
- Results cards must be submitted no later than April 18th – winning team to submit signed cards.
- Please remember to record high ins, high outs and 180's
- There will be one bar plaque awarded to the City Cup winning team – no individual trophies for team play will be awarded.
Our annual banquet is Saturday May 6th, upstairs at the Legion. Tickets are $25 per person and include a wonderful dinner, dancing and prizes. Trophies will be awarded as follows: - First Place team in League Play
- First Place team in City Cup
- 3 or more 180’s /171’s will receive a trophy
- Less than 3 180’s will receive an award
- Top in and Top Out will receive a trophy each
- Tournament winners will receive a trophy each
For the 2020 season, due to cancellation midway trophies will be awarded based on standings so long as team/players are still in the league. Trophies will be awarded to the list outlined above however no City Cup trophies will be awarded as games were not played due to Covid. We will not be awarding trophies for teams who did not participate this season. Tickets can be purchased at by contacting Melanie, Jeannine, Tina or Amanda. It would be extremely helpful if the Captains would collect money and purchase tickets for their team. We know this has been a difficult year as we all try to rebuild the league and we want to thank you for your patience and understanding. It has been appreciated more than you realize. We hope we can put this year behind us and get back to our normal divisions/format for the 2023/2024 season.
